Ontario Savings Bonds are a safe and secure investment which is backed 100 per cent by the Province of Ontario, including both
principal and interest. They are available from financial institutions, credit unions,
caisses populaires
or investment dealers.
The 2008 Ontario Savings Bonds campaign will run from Monday, June 2nd to Friday, June 20th.

2008 Ontario Savings Bonds Higher Rates Announced –
Bonds More Competitive – Same Flexible Purchase Options.
The Ontario government announced higher interest rates for the 2008 issue of Ontario Savings Bonds (OSBs) to
keep pace with a changing investment market.
The new rates are:
Variable-Rate Bond: | 3.00% |
Fixed-Rate Bond: | 3.50% |
Step-Up Rate Bond: | 2.60% |

| | 3.20% |
| 4.00% |
